Shopaholics


I’m digging all things bright...colors and prints! So I’m getting the best of both worlds in this outfit with my linen fuchsia blazer and my printed Old Navy shorts.  I found these shorts in my closet, still new with the tags. Yikes, I remember I bought them last year on clearance! 




You know you’re a shopaholic when you find stuff in your closet that's brand new.  I tend to buy stuff hoping to match it with something else, and then months go by and I totally forget about what I bought.  I’m sure that’s true for most shopaholics.


But I’m vowing to stay out of the stores for the next two months and shop my closet!  Shopping your closet is something you've got to do more often because you find things you haven’t worn in months. It’s also the perfect opportunity to organize and evaluate what you do have. Get rid of anything old and create new outfits. 
That’s my favorite part of shopping my closet, creating new outfits. The only downfall is the messy room with all the clothes on the floor!  Who wants to clean that up?


So shopaholics let’s rejoice and shop our closets.

    I was just telling my husband this...that I need to stop shopping and work with what I have in my closet. That is exactly what I am going to do. I shop entirely too much. I buy new things before I even wear the new things I bought months ago. I have so much that I can and need to wear right in my closet. Great post and you look fantastic! I love that pink blazer and the print on those shorts looks amazing against the pink! That necklace is fabulous! Love it all! Kiah

    Im telling you Katie Mac....PINK IS YOUR COLOR!! That hot pink is so pretty against your skin! And lets not talk about clothes with tags on them as I have SO many of those hanging in my closet. I love a deep discount and I will buy stuff not becuase I need it but because the price is crazy low and I'm afraid I'll never find it again! There you go...Confessions of a Shopaholic!     WOW!!! I'm so feeling the brights! Have you check H&M lately? They have earrings that perfectly (well almost...it doesn't contain ALL the colors but most) match. There about $3.95? I would never think to be as risky as you with all the colors, but somehow it works perfectly. Excellent coordination.
